The official timeframe
Immigration New Zealand says to allow up to 72 hours for an NZeTA request. That is not a guaranteed completion time. If more information or investigation is needed, the decision can take longer.
No genuine fast-track channel exists for private providers. Pacific Legacy Migration can help review information, but cannot prioritise, approve or speed up a government decision.
Reduce avoidable delays
- Use the exact identity details printed in your passport.
- Upload a recent, compliant facial photo without editing or AI manipulation.
- Answer purpose, health and character questions truthfully.
- Use the same passport to request the NZeTA and to travel.
- Check your email and respond promptly if the government asks for more information.
Do not wait until check-in
Airlines and cruise operators can deny boarding if you do not have the travel permission you need. Allow contingency time and confirm status before leaving for the port or airport.
